I have a 2006 Proof American Gold Eagle 4pc Set in box and I cannot find any for sale to have an idea what it would fetch.

By the looks of the 1 oz. proof price increases just in the last couple of years, i'd say an educated guess would be around $3250-$3600+.

Real nice if you purchased it from the mint for about $1400.

Actually, this say's more about the worth (or lack there of) of your FRN's.

I missed out on these proof Gold Eagles. Stuck to just the bullion coins. I have this pit in my stomach now. Can't even finish my dinner. Good going to those who bought them.

UR right, I forgot about the $95 (kinda like chump change in the bigger picture).

What bogles the mind is the fact that the Buffalo Proofs and First Wives Proofs aren't really keeping up with he Eagle Proofs (and they're .9999).

If you stick around PM's long enough, you'll eventually see everything!

Perhaps, maybe, who knows, but - what "If" the 2008 GOLD EAGLE (Buffalo - Platinum - Silver) PROOFS were the last ones for a few years?

Just a stinking lousy hunch - but I'll bet you'll not see any 2009s no matter what they promise say or sign in MINT blood.

Wow --- Tulving currently will trade you 16 oz. of AU maples for your 10 oz. of proof eagles. Also, Silver maples currently at 1.49 over spot which is a normal premium. Huge minimums of course...

I bid on a PF69 $50 American Gold Eagle.


The BIDDING (meaning ME) started at $999 a few days ago.

That was about 75 dollars more than spot on an NGC PF69 with date of 2004.


It sold just now for $1,467.00 with free shipping.

That is over $500 of spot price. That's why TULVING is paying a premium - they will explode IMVHO when the US GIVER MINTY confesses to the crime of 1993. They LEASED it to the crooked banksters. :111::111:
